General Usage Instructions
Export Active Document
The easiest way to export Autodesk® AutoCAD® Plant 3D drawing is to select the Schema version and Export Active Document option. You can also select the 'Export Properties' check box option to export the properties.
After pressing the 'Gather Elements' button will gather information from the model. Once information is gathered then select the location and enter a filename for the IFC file and press the 'Create IFC' button. The plugin will save the model into an IFC format.
Export Selected Objects
Another way is by selecting the 'Select Objects' tab. Double click on the 'Refresh' button and select the objects from the Treeview control in the first tab. After selecting the desired objects, please click on the 'Export' tab and select the 'Export Selected Objects' option.
Export Referenced Documents
Using the 'Export Referenced Documents' option, you can export the active document and all referenced documents in one go.
The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
