Step 1. The app will install the content to CPak Common. "C:\AutoCAD Plant 3D 2026 Content\CPak KLT Equipment Heat Exchanger". The app will automatically detect the latest version of your Autodesk® AutoCAD® Plant 3D™ installed in "C:\". 

Step 2. Launch Plant 3D and run the command "PLANTREGISTERCUSTOMSCRIPTS" to compile the scripts and restart Plant 3D.

Step 3. The new pumps will automatically show up in the Equipment/Heat Exchanger section and is ready to use. If you want to use pre-defined Heat Exchangers please copy the "Equipment Templates" folder to your project.

Step 4. To use the connector (Clamp, Flange, etc) come with the Heat Exchangers please copy Nozzle Connector Catalog.pspx to your project.

To uninstall this content pack, please go to Control Panel => Programs and Features => Select the "Equipment - Parametric Heat Exchanger" => Uninstall
