説明

When the Autodesk® AutoCAD® variable OSNAPZ is changed many have found it useful to have a more visual change to indicate its state. In verticals like Autodesk® AutoCAD® Architecture, you have a small button that indicates the state of the “Z lock” but some might want to even have also the background color change just like the Block Editor changes the background color. OsnapzBG Plus makes it possible to set any drawing window colors you want to use for OSNAPZ=0 and any others for OSNAPZ=1.

In AutoCAD Architecture there is a button on the application status bar named “Replace Z value with current elevation” but in vanilla AutoCAD, you have to run OSNAPZ to make the change. With this app, it is as easy as a click on a button to make the change.

With OSNAPZ set to 1 anything, you snap to only use the current elevation as z value. OSNAPZ controls whether object snaps are automatically projected onto a plane parallel to the XY plane of the current UCS at the current elevation.

Works, but unfortunately makes it impossible to change some entities' colors, especially in paperspace. EDIT: Problem seems to be fixed. See below.

Thanks for your attention to this matter. It seems to run great now. There is a minor inconvenience in that the app seems to set some colors upon install (like it changes the plot preview uniform background color to black, or at least it did for me), but the benefit of easily seeing what OsnapZ is set to far outweighs the initial set-up time. I was having trouble with the original OsnapzBG command because I use Bing maps and aerial photos in Civil 3D so I couldn't tell if the background color chnaged or not. This command allows me to see what OSnapZ is set to using command line background color, crosshair color, etc. Very useful. And again, I appreciate your help. I'm changing my star rating to 5 as I assume you'll post the new version.
