This content pack includes the following pipes and fittings in UK Ductile Iron Standards.

• BS EN 545 ‐ Ductile iron pipes, fittings, accessories and their joints for water pipelines. Requirements and test methods

• BS EN 598 ‐ Ductile iron pipes, fittings, accessories and their joints for sewerage applications. Requirements and test methods

Installation

These catalogs are compatible with AutoCAD Plant 3D 2023 and later versions. This installer will copy UK Ductile Iron Pipes Fittings.pcat into your content catalog location (C:\AutoCAD Plant 3D Content\ CPak UK Ductile Iron\). 

Uninstallation

To uninstall this content pack, do the following:

1. From the Windows Start menu, open the Control Panel.

2. Select Programs and Features.

3. Select CPak UK Ductile Iron 2026.

4. Click Uninstall.

Post-Installation

The default Push-fit joint setup includes a Gasket as a fastener. To work better with Push-fit connections, edit the joint setting, remove the Gasket, and keep Universal as the fastener. 

For more information on configuring pipe connections, refer to the Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D Help.

These catalogs contain some joints and connection types that do not exist in the software. You may need to create them manually.

•Use the PLANTENDCODES command to create new endcodes.

•Go to the Piping Connection Settings to customize the joint setup from Project Setup.

Weld dots appear in the isometric drawings for the Push-Fit connections.
