Description

The Time Tracker tool allows you to automatically record the time spent on each project, along with the corresponding number of actions performed. This dual-metric approach ensures that productivity is accurately assessed, preventing misleading interpretations when only time is tracked.

Once installed, the Time Tracker add-in for Autodesk® Revit® automatically captures project activity without requiring any user intervention. By continuously recording both the duration of work and the number of actions performed, it generates a dynamic dashboard with five distinct sections:

  • General Information: Displays key project details, including the project name, current date and time, and the identifier of the user who generated the dashboard.
  • Work Time: This shows the total accumulated work time for the project and the specific work time logged on the current day.
  • Hourly Operation Frequency: Displays a visual breakdown of the number of actions performed per hour for each day, ensuring a clear and precise correlation between recorded work time and actual daily productivity.
  • Global Statistics: Presents comprehensive metrics such as the start date of activity tracking, the total number of unique days recorded, and the average hours worked per day on the project.
  • Copy to Clipboard: This generates an image snapshot of the dashboard, making it effortless to share the report via email, chat, or other editing software with a simple copy-and-paste action.

  • Excellent simple interface...but..
Roger Krizanec | June 27, 2025 Verified Download (What's this?)

would pay for this to do this.. if it had idle time setting.

Great looking, simple, works as soon as project is open..

But please tell us there is a way to set an "idel time stop recording" i.e. when Revit / proejct not in use (say your at lunch) then can it not record???

  • Love it but needs to update this

If I open two or multiple projects at the same time, it is only showing time duration for the 1st project.

Thank you for your feedback, Saurabh ! To help me address this properly, could you please clarify what you mean by "two or multiple projects at the same time" ? Are you referring to two separate Revit sessions/windows, or multiple projects opened within the same Revit session ? Also, could you specify what you consider to be the "first project" ? That would help me understand the context better and make the necessary adjustments. Thanks again for pointing this out !

Thank you for your reply. I was talking about Multiple projects in same Revit session.

Thank you for your reply. I was talking about Multiple projects in same Revit session. And First Project means if I open "Project01" first and then "project02" in same revit session, timer will show only "Project01" data. Thank you
