If you don't have downloaded file of lumion 11 setup it does not works.
We downloaded and installed the 'free' Lumion add-in. (Revit 2023) when we pressed the play button a digi box appeared stating could not run in this version and must upgrade. Fine, clicked on it but then it takes you to the Lumion home page which is a paid sub...so Free is very misleading.

I really want to like this plugin, it has so much potential, but it crashes Revit unexpectedly with no opportunity to save a recovery file. Lost work is very frustrating.
I am running v 3.60.542. I had this issue a year or so ago too, but I stopped using Livesync because of it. I recently started using it again, but it still crashes.
I've been using Revit 2024 and when opening Lumion that syncs my Revit, it keeps going back to upgrading the version, what may be the problem here?
Try close your Lumion first, then you install syncs, to me works

I have circular spaces in my project, in revit it looks smooth round without edges, but when ı throw it to the lumıon to render, the polygon numbers decrease and look diagonal. Is there a solution?
I already set the parameter "smoothing surface" on high but the results is still bad.
If I export with fbx it works and the curve profiles are smooth.
What can I do?

Na hora de salvar o arquivo não aparece algumas opcões como por exemplo salvar cenas, salvar modeloes e cenas... E depois do salvamento não é possivel abrir o arquivo mais. Esse é o unico problema que aparece, fora isso esse software é otimo!

La única solución que encontré es instalar la versión anterior del Plug-in de fecha 29-5-2020. Con este puede exportar nuevamente los modelos.

I was using Lumion LiveSync for a while and everything worked perfectly, but this week i've reinstalled Revit 2020 and Lumion LiveSync. After that, every attempt to export a collada file from any Revit model ended up in the "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error message. I've tried to reinstall Revit, Lumion, LiveSync, but the issue perssits.

Hi... Im using Revit 2020 and Lumion 8 and i can not export my model from Revit. Its shows up the error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
I tried unistalling and reinstalling the Microsoft Visual C++ file and its still showing the same message.

he estado mirando y hay muchas personas con el mismo problema, esta ocurriendo desde el 12 de junio, ellos hicieron una actualización el 11 de junio y al parecer dañaron el plugin. yo les escribí directamente al correo de lumion y me respondieron que actualizara revit, pero ese no es el problema, el problema es este plugin que lo dañaron actualizando. les volví a a enviar un correo mostrando todas las quejas que hay al respecto a ver si nos solucionan el problema. por el momento la solución temporal que encontré fue exportar de revit a 3dmax y de 3dmax a lumion. si me responden algo les aviso

Livesync in Lumion 10 is most of the time not working and I have to reload the Lumion model to make it working again. It did't happened in Lumion 8 & 9 version. Hopefully this issue can be fix because it is a big wasting of time, especially when you work on multi million dollar projects!

Just downloaded this app and it's not working out too good so far. I turned livesync on and placed the model from Revit to Lumion. When I move/change elements in my Revit "Rendering Model", it changes in Lumion, which is good. BUT, my Revit "Rendering Model" has other Revit models linked to it. Sometimes I need to modify elements in those linked models, so I do that. Then I reload links in the "Rendering Model" so those changes reflect, which then automatically updates in Lumion. This works, but when I do that step ALL the material changes I've made in Lumion dissappear and the Revit model materials are back. I am not renaming any materials in Revit anymore, so I don't know why it would erase all material changes I made in Lumion. This issue is defeating the purpose of using LiveSync. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Hello, I´m a student using the student license of Lumion 9.5 and the Revit 2020 student license, the LiveSync that I have instaled is the 3.60.530.
I wonder why I can't use the Livesync, whenever I push the button this message sow up "Lumion LiveSync- Host file hacked, Live Synk will not work on your computer".

Is Lumion 10 supported? as when i try & run LiveSync with 10 its says no can do, yet on lumions website its says its supported?

I don't see why this wouldn't be possible.
We use Revit for modeling toposurfaces and massing, and the full fersion of Revit costs too much to be used just as a massing and site editor in our case.
Hi Sergiu, Revit 2020 is already fully supported. However, Revit LT only has limited support and you have to export your model via .DWG format. This is a technical limitation. Sorry about the inconvenience.

Hi, Im using Revit 2019.2 to Lumion 9 via the lumion plug in. Some, railings or curved sweeps are being deformed when imported into Lumion using the export to Lumion. However, if I export via Revit FBX and import into Lumion, these curves are perfect. Please advise.

Hi, I've used this software to export Revit files to Google Earth and I wanted to know if there was an option to preserve linework? As is it displays only with rendered material but not "edges" making it difficult to read. Any tips?
Hi Cody, it's not possible to export linework (and any other 2D elements) from Revit. However, if you export the Revit model to SketchUp, you can export the edges to Lumion via .DAE format.
