Download and install the SMARTreview Autodesk® Revit® APR package.  Once installed, you may run the APR from within Revit by clicking on the APR button located on the add-in ribbon panel. 

The first time that the APR add-in is executed, it will ask you to register the installation using the following:

• SMARTreview Username/Password - you may create your SMARTreview Username/Password by visiting us at https://www.smartreview.biz
• SMARTreview Order Number - Activate your 1-month free trial, or activate a paid subscription.  Once activated, you will receive an email with your SMARTreview Order Number.

After registering the installation, you can walk through the configuration of the APR (adding building code related information into your BIM) and execute a plan review of your design.

Login to your SMARTreview account to see walkthroughs of installation, read up on the different configuration options, read the how-to documentation, and access our forums for asking specific questions you may have.

There is no limit to the number of plan reviews you may run.  We encourage you to run them as often as necessary to help you refine your design to become compliant with the building code.

Download the APR installer and execute.  

During installation, you will need to create the Revit plugin so that the APR Client is added to the Revit user interface. Clicking the "Finish" button will cause the plugin applet to run. Click the "Start" button to generate the plugin file.

Our installer and add-in are digitally signed, so you can be certain that it originated from SMARTreview. The SMARTreview binaries are located in your Program Files directory under the SMARTreview folder.  Application data is located in the Program Data directory under Revit2018APR.

To uninstall the application, simply select the program in the Control Panel > Programs and Features > Revit 2018 APR, and click on the Uninstall option.
