Win64, EnglishGeneral Usage Instructions
Users must sign in to the app with their exisiting Greenheck eCAPS credentials to activate the app buttons.
To create a Greenheck account, please click here
To find a product model by name
The select by model button allows you to browse the Greenheck content library for LOD 200 Revit families. Simply type in the model name to locate the product.
Clicking the ‘Insert’ button then allows you to select the specific size you wish to load into your project.
The download button allows you to specify a location on your hard drive to save the family and type a catalog that contains the various available sizes.
To determine the best product to use based on performance
The select by performance button allows you to access the eCAPS platform and make a performance-based product selection. Once a recommended product and size are selected, clicking the ‘Insert’ button loads the LOD 300 family directly into your open Revit project. Cut sheets can also be downloaded for the selected product.
To make a quick adjustment
Selecting a LOD 300 re-selectable Greenheck product Revit family activates the Reselect button. Data is extracted from the rfa and used to prepopulate the inputs in eCAPS, recreating the initial selection. From here users can make the needed adjustments and re-insert the modified selection.
To access eCAPS Jobs
The eCAPS Jobs button allows users to access any jobs they have saved to their eCAPS account. Simply click on the job name to open, then either insert or download the selections.
To create a Schedule
Once the user completes their design, they can create a Greenheck based schedule with ease. The schedules are set up following the eCAPS template and parameters can be included, excluded or reordered before creating one or more schedules with just one click!
To Create a New Mapping
- Browse to find your shared parameter file
- Select a Greenheck parameter tab
- Select your parameter from the Mapped user parameters dropdown list
- Save the mapping configuration
- Select ‘Apply to…’ button. This opens another window from which you can decide which Greenheck LOD 300 families to add and map your specified parameters to.
Note: after the mapping configuration has been defined and saved, LOD 300 Greenheck families inserted into Revit projects using the Greenheck Revit addin will automatically have the specified user parameters added to them during insertion. These parameters will not automatically have the mapped Greenheck parameter values. To map the data, use the ‘Apply Mapping’ button
