・Detail Filter

"Detail Filter" can be applied to filter the elements out of selected elements by its parameter of Category, Family, Family Type, Parts Materials of elements.

Procedure
01. Select elements.
02. In the Ribbon, [Add-Ins] tab - [Detail Filter Pro] panel , click [Detail Filter].
03. In Detail Filter dialog, Parameters are shown on each tab in Detail Filter dialog.
04. Select one tab among Category, Family, Family type, Parts.
05. Check on check boxes of the desired parameter.
· Parts tab can be used if the selected element contains Parts in it.
· Please refer to the Help for more information on the parts.
· Click [Confirm], Filtered elements are highlighted.
06. Click OK, Filtered elements are selected.

・Search Filter

"Search Filter" can be applied to filter elements out of all elements or visible elements in the current view, by Category and parameters.

Procedure
01. In the Ribbon, [Add-Ins] tab - [Detail Filter Pro] panel , click [Search Filter].
02. Search dialog appears, select one parameter in the Category list.
03. Parameters of selected Category are shown in Parameter list on its right side.
04. Select one parameter in the Parameter list.
05. Input value for the parameter in [Parameter value] text box.
· If there is a check box of a parameter, you can choose "yes" with the check and "no" with blank for the check box.
· In case of numerical value for parameter in parameter text box, you can choose one filtering process out of six such as "=", "not", "≧", "≦", ">", "<".
· In case of text value for the parameter in the parameter text box, you can choose “not” value, if text value with leading "!".
· To include a name of the element as a parameter for filtering, check the check box of "Include name".
· To filter only from the current view, check the check box of "Current view only".
06. Click [Confirm], Filtered elements are highlighted.
07. Click OK, Filtered elements are selected.

・Common Search Filter

"Common Search Filer" can be applied to filter elements by a value of the parameter in the same Category of the selected element.

Procedure
01. Select one element.
02. In the Ribbon, [Add-Ins] tab - [Detail Filter Pro] panel , click [Common Search Filter].
03. In the Search dialog, instance parameters and type parameters are shown.
04. Select one item from each Instance parameters and Type parameters
05. Input a value in the parameter text box for the selected parameter.
· If there is a check box of a parameter, you can choose "yes" with a check and "no" with blank for the check box.
· In case of numerical value for parameter in parameter text box, you can choose one filtering process out of six such as "=", "not", "≧", "≦", ">", "<".
· In case of text value for a parameter in the parameter text box, you can choose “not” value, if text value with leading "!".
· To include a name of element as a parameter for filtering, check the check box of "Include name".
· To filter only from the current view, check the check box of "Current view only".
06. Click [Confirm], Filtered elements are highlighted.
07. Click OK, Filtered elements are selected.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.

Time-consuming process, if lot of elements are selected.
