Bird Tools - Automatic Tag Stacker
Win64, EnglishGeneral Usage Instructions
Once installed and once a subscription is obtained, and after the user signs into his/her Autodesk account, this tool can be accessed through the “Automatic Tag Stacker” pushbutton that can be found in the “Bird Tools” tab of the Revit ribbon.
Once the aforementioned button is clicked, a user form is shown, allowing the user to select whether the leader elbow should be picked on-screen, whether a landing distance is to be specified, or whether the match stacking mode is to be used. The latter allows the user to stack the selected tags over an already existing element.
Then, the user is prompted to select the tags in question unless they were preselected.
The user then picks the new position of the tags, followed by the location of the elbow of the leaders, or its direction in case a landing distance was initially specified.
The leaders can be maintained straight prior to the specification of the leader elbow position by pressing <Esc>.
