ApliCAD UpdateBIMWin64, English
General Usage Instructions
The first time any of the Plugin buttons are used, the system will ask you to identify yourself using the login and password.
If you do not have a valid email and password, you can use the “Sign up” link to send you to the ApliCAD website where you will register.
You are required to indicate a valid email and password. If the email is already registered, we can request that you remember the password, so that the system sends you an email to generate a new password.
ApliCAD UpdateBIM is developed by the company ApliCAD (CAD-CAM AND GIS APPLICATIONS), and the latest version of the Plugin can be downloaded for free on the web https://www.aplicad.com
For the download, it is necessary to have an account on said website. This account is free and it is only necessary to enter an email and password for its creation.
IMPORTANT: The username (email) and password used to download is the same as those are necessary to use the Plugin in Revit
Once the Plugin has been downloaded, you need to have administrator permissions to carry out the installation.
The installation of the Plugin is always done in "C: \ Program Files \ ApliCAD \ ApliCAD UpdateBIM", creating folders for each of the versions of Autodesk Revit that are installed.
If another version of Autodesk Revit is installed after the installation of ApliCAD UpdateBIM, it will be necessary to carry out a repair of the current installation so that the system is operative in the new version of Revit installed.
To uninstall this plug-in, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
Users for whom ApliCAD UpdateBIM is intended:
- Any Autodesk Revit user can use the Plugin since there is a free version with limitations on the number of users to share and on the volume of information. You can always use the Project Analysis tool regardless of the type of rate available.
- Construction Companies and Consultants require their collaborators to use the standardized objects that they publish privately.
- Companies that want to provide their content in a generalized way to any Revit user and who want to have greater control over who uses the objects and guarantee that the elements used are up to date.
