ENRWOOD-FRAMING Workflow Guide

ENRWOOD-FRAMING offers flexible methods to create and analyze your wood framing model. Start from an architectural drawing and follow one of the workflows below.

1. Full Model Generation (Fastest Method)

  • Click the "F Building" icon to automatically generate the complete framing from your architectural plan.

  • Solve the entire model in three steps:

    1. Generate Supports

    2. Analysis

    3. Design

2. Element-by-Element Framing (Manual Control)

  • Build your model piece by piece using dedicated tools:

    • F Wall for walls

    • Floor Joist for joists

    • Roof Rafter for rafters

    • Beam for beams

    • Post for posts

  • Once your model is built, solve it using the same three-step process: Generate Supports, Analysis, Design.

3. Single Element Analysis

  • After creating your framing (using either method above), use the "Single Element" tool to analyze and solve individual members one at a time.

Editing & Advanced Tools

  • Edit Supports & Loads: Click the "Control" icon and select an element to modify its properties.

  • Edit Sections: Use the "Edit Section" icon to change the structural section of a member.

  • Attach Elements: The "Attachment" tool connects selected elements (Walls, Beams, Posts) to other model elements like floor joists, roof rafters, or wall framing.
