ENRWOOD-FRAMING
Win64, EnglishGeneral Usage Instructions
ENRWOOD-FRAMING integrates directly with Autodesk® Revit® to automate the creation, analysis, design, and documentation of wood framing systems. The application can be used to frame an entire building automatically or to create and analyze individual framing systems.
Recommended Workflow
1. Prepare the Architectural Model
Open your architectural Revit model and ensure that the building geometry (walls, floors, roofs, beams, and columns) is complete before generating framing.
2. Create the Framing Model
Choose one of the following workflows:
Automatic Building Generation
Use Building Framing to automatically generate framing for the entire building.
or
Manual Framing
Create framing individually using the dedicated tools:
- Wall Framing
- Floor Joists
- Roof Rafters
- Beams
- Posts
3. Generate Structural Supports
Run Generate Supports to establish the structural support conditions required for analysis.
4. Perform Structural Analysis
Use Analysis to calculate structural behavior for the framing model.
5. Design Members
Run Design to size and verify framing members based on the analysis results.
For localized modifications, use Single Element to analyze and redesign an individual framing member without processing the entire project.
6. Modify the Model (Optional)
If required, update the framing using the editing tools:
- Edit supports and loads
- Change member sections
- Attach framing elements
- Regenerate framing after design changes
7. Generate Framing Documentation
After the design is complete, generate fabrication-ready cut lists for:
- Wall Framing
- Floor Framing
- Roof Framing
- Beams
- Posts
The generated cut lists include member quantities, lengths, section sizes, material information, and other fabrication data for estimating, manufacturing, and construction documentation.

Installation Status
Your download from the Autodesk App Store included an installer that has already set up the plugin on your system.
What to Do Next
- You should see the plugin inside your Autodesk product.
- If you don't see it, please close and restart the application.
How to Uninstall
If you need to remove the plugin, please follow these steps:
- Ensure the Autodesk application is fully closed.
- Choose one of these two uninstall methods:

Easy Method: Re-run the original installer from the Autodesk App Store. When it opens, click the 'Uninstall' option.

Standard Method: Uninstall it via your system settings:

Windows 10/11: Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features.

Windows 7/8.1: Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
