Use this plug-in inside Autodesk® Revit® to export the geometry from a 3D-View into a multi-player, interactive visualization hosted in your web browser.

General Usage Instructions

The Toolbelt Web Exporter provides a simple workflow to export geometry from Revit. Once the Revit plugin is installed, the exporter plugin will appear under the Toolbelt tab in Revit. When the user clicks on the Toolbelt Web Exporter icon, a new dialog window will open which allows you to modify your export settings and properties:

1. Select the 3D view you would like to export into Toolbelt Web.

2. Click "Export" and save the file locally wherever you wish.

3. The exporter will open the Toolbelt Web Upload Center where you can log in with your account or sign up to create an account.

4. Drag and drop the saved file to Upload and open your file in Toolbelt Web.

Additional Information

Known Issues

Uploading 3D views with the exact same name to our upload portal can cause errors in deleting uploads later.

Files exported that are above 150 MB will not load on web browsers (you will receive a warning if your file is this big).

Objects with more than 60,000 polygons will take longer to export (you will receive a warning if your file contains these).

Model Text objects are not exported.

Objects are imported from Revit's model origin. If your model is far away from the origin, you will have to move your avatar to get close to it.
