Door Swing Classification:

1. Select doors or start Xdoors without selection for updating all doors
2. Open the Swing Direction tab
3. Input the labels for the single and double doors.
4. Select the door text parameter to save the classification for the single and double doors. Ensure the parameter values can vary by group instance to avoid warnings.
5. Confirm by clicking on the Update button. A count of the total of doors to be updated is presented in the button. 

Numbering:

Doors and windows are numbered automatically based on the room number they establish a relation with. It is therefore mandatory that the "Mark" parameter for the rooms has a value. Windows normally only have a room relation. For door numbering, xDoor will consider the smallest room to establish a relation, unless that room rename is indicated in the list of Low Priority Room Names.

1. Select if you wish to number doors or windows.
2. Check the option to clear existing numbering if you wish to renumber all the doors, otherwise just the unnumbered doors will be numbered.
3. Add optionally a prefix and/or a suffix should you need one.
4. Define any low-priority room names, such as "Corridor" should you wish to avoid the door related to that room.
5. Optionally add the room name association and/or host wall by enabling the corresponding checkbox and selecting the corresponding text parameter where the information will be stored.

Autosave settings

The last used labels are automatically saved for the next session.  

Presets:

An XML file is provided with presets for several countries. This file can be customized according to the office standards by following the same format.

Install instructions:

1. Run the supplied installer.
2. Introduce the serial number in case you have a license.
3. Confirm the installation settings.
4. The plugin is now available to run inside Revit.

Uninstall instructions:

1. Close all Revit sessions.
2. Run the uninstaller from the installation directory or from the shortcut in the Windows program menu.
3. Confirm the uninstallation.
4. The program is then uninstalled.

Important note:

• This software is based on the principle that a Revit standard door family is used. That standard door is indicated on the door diagram in the top left corner of the dialog.
• If a door family is not modeled under this principle, the label text may not match the standard.
• The walls in the door diagrams are drawn with the exterior side facing up.

There are no known issues with the software. There can, however, be incorrect results if the door families are not created as standard Revit doors (all doors shall be drawn to the exterior side, with hinges on the left side).
