Win64, EnglishGeneral Usage Instructions
In this version, the addin has two styles of graphical representation and inserts a group of shared parameters that allows the user to have another type of electrical calculation.
Shared parameters:
- ps_factorbreaker (Number): The factor to calculate the breaker rating versus the load, must be equal to or greater than 1, in the first calculation it takes a 1.25 value, which the user can change manually.
- ps_breakermin (Electrical current): Minimum value of the breaker rating of the circuit.
- ps_factoragrup (Number): Derating factor of grouping, must be manually inserted by the user in the schedule.
- ps_factortemp (Number): Derating factor of temperature, it is assigned with the range of temperature selected, the user can change this manually also.
- ps_currentallowable (Electrical current): Allowable current of the selected conductor.
- ps_mmphase (Number): mm2 value based on the international standard of the phase conductor.
- ps_wireawg (Text): Value AWG or kcmil of the phase conductor.
- ps_wireground (Text): Value AWG or kcmil of the ground conductor.
- ps_vdcalculated (Number): Voltage drop calculated.
- ps_currenttable (Electrical current): Current of the AWG selected conductor of the 310.15 NEC.
- ps_cabletype (Text): Type of electrical conductor of each circuit, taking into account the NFPA 70 standard, the value can be:
C60 - Cu-60°C – Copper for 60°C.
C75- Cu-75°C – Copper for 75°C.
C90 - Cu-90°C – Copper for 90°C.
A60 - Al-60°C – Aluminum for 60°C.
A75 - Al-75°C – Aluminumfor75°C.
A90 - Al-90°C – Aluminum for 90°C.
- ps_wiresize (Text): Wire AWG or kcmil of the conductors.
- ps_wiremm (Text): Wire mm2 based on the international standard.
- ps_powercalc (Electrical apparent power): Load of calculation of the circuit, in the case of those circuits that are electrical panels with other circuits connected below, this value will be the Estimated Demand Power of the Electrical Equipment.
- ps_sldruns (Number): Number of runs per phase of the addin.
- ps_vdropvolts (Electrical potential): Voltage drop in volts.
- ps_conduit (Text): Diameter in inches of the conduit.
- ps_breaker (Electrical current): Breaker rating of the plugin, this can be 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110, 125, 150, 175, 200, 225, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, 500, 600, 700, 800, 1000, 1200, 1600, 2000, 2500,3000,4000,5000 or 6000 amperes.
- ps_currentcalc (Electrical current): Load current based on the VA of the plugin ps_powercalc.
- ps_vddata (Number): Voltage drop permissible data, for the circuit, the value from 0.5% to 5 %.
- ps_mmground (Number): mm2 of the ground conductor based on the international standard.
- ps_neutral (Yes/No): Indicates if the circuits have neutral.
Create single line diagram:
This button indicates to select a point in a ViewSheet to start the drawing of the single line diagram after it shows a window called SINGLE LINE DIAGRAM with all the panelboards in the model if the add-in is opened in ViewSheet.
The SLD can only be created with a ViewSheet activated.
In the SINGLE LINE DIAGRAM, there is a list box where the user must select a panelboard, once one panel is selected the following information is shown:
- Panel name.
- Distribution System.
- Total Connected.
- Total Demand Factor.
- Total Estimated Demand.
- Total Estimated Demand Current.
All these data are project parameters of Electrical Equipment in Revit.
Single line diagrams: Options
- Calculate Rating: Checkbox that calculates the parameter Rating of the Electrical Circuits of the panel selected to the 125% next size up.
- Spare: Checkbox to introduce the number of circuits of 20A Rating and 1 pole that will be drawing as spare.
- SPD: Checkbox to draw a surge protection device.
- Symbology: Place the symbology for style 1.
- Plot app data: Shows the data calculated by the addin.
- Plot mm2 data: Shows the data calculated by the add-in, with mm2 international calculations.
