ETAP DataX™Win64, English
General Usage Instructions
- Revit-ETAP Data Exchange Add-in has to be installed prior to enabling your Revit project for ETAP to discover.
- Data Exchange can be achieved between Revit and ETAP in either same machine or different machines via a corporate DMZ.
- The import process utilizes WCF communication between ETAP and Revit without saving the ETAP project data or Revit project data into HDD.
- Once Revit Data Exchange Service is up and running, it is auto-discoverable by ETAP. Once users initiate the import process in ETAP, the program connects to available Revit Data Exchange service automatically.
