- Revit to ETAP Data Exchange Add-in has to be installed prior to enabling your Revit project for ETAP to discover.
- Data Exchange can be achieved between Revit and ETAP in either the same machine or different machines via a corporate DMZ.
- The import process utilizes WCF communication between ETAP and Revit without saving the ETAP project data or Revit project data into HDD.
- Once Revit Data Exchange Service is up and running, it is auto-discoverable by ETAP.
- Once users initiate the import process in ETAP, the program connects to the available Revit Data Exchange service automatically.
Commands
Installation/Uninstallation
The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.
To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
