The sample Greenlee conduit RVT files are provided within the installer and can be found under the following path
%Documents%\Greenlee\Bendworks
Select Greenlee tab to open BendWorks interface ribbon.
Select Conduit tool
Allows user to locate Greenlee conduits and elbows of a particular type and size from a dialog box. Selection highlights on screen.
Single Split tool
Allows user to choose a single conduit run to be split. Runs should be selected at one of the ends for best practice; otherwise run must be processed by Optimize option. Select icon, select run on screen to be processed. After choosing run, user is allowed to change parameters of split through the Split Conduit Run Into Segments dialog.
Note: Users can first select a single conduit run and then execute the command. If more than one piece of conduit is selected, the selection is cleared when the command is executed and the user is prompted to select a single piece of conduit.
Note: BendWorks adds an underscore followed by a 4-digit extension to the designated prefix.
Note: The Split Run Into Segments window will display in the bottom left corner the value of the Total Angle of Bends. It is intended to be used in the splitting process for reference only.
Choosing OK starts the process. The Conduit Check and Export dialog appear. This shows how the conduit run is split, its marks, lengths, errors and file location. User has the option to pick a section and highlight it on the screen. Choose OK to finish processing. Split is finished and output files are written.
Note: If UNDO command is executed after splitting a run, the run will un-split, but the output files will remain in the folder.
Multiple Split By Type tool
Allows user to choose multiple runs to be split by designated size and type. After selecting an icon, a dialog box appears that lists all run by type and size. User makes a selection, chooses OK to continue, selection highlights. User is allowed to change parameters of split through the Split Conduit Run Into Segments dialog.
Optimize option will split outwards from the conduit segment selected. This is the only option for this function.
Normal option will split and insert couplings randomly. This is the only option for this function.
Choosing OK starts the process. Prefix Settings for Selected Conduit Runs dialog appears. This shows the mark prefixes, number of bends, type, and size of conduits in runs. User has the option to pick a run and highlight it on the screen.
Note: BendWorks adds a 2-digit extension to the designated prefix and an underscore followed by a 4-digit extension for each piece of conduit.
Choosing OK continues the process. Conduit Check and an Export dialog appear. This shows how runs are split, marks, lengths errors, and file location. User has the option to pick a section and highlight it on the screen. Choose OK to finish processing. Split is finished and output files are written.
Note: If EDIT – UNDO (Ctrl-Z) command is executed after splitting a run, the run will un-split, but the output files will remain in the folder.
Note: The Split Run Into Segments window will display in the bottom left corner the value of the Total Angle of Bends. This variable refers to the first run of conduit selected. It is intended to be used for reference in the splitting process.
Multiple Split By Selection tool
Allows user to choose multiple runs to be split, regardless of type and size. After selecting an icon, the user makes selections from the screen, chooses Finish to continue. User is allowed to change parameters of split through the Split Conduit Run Into Segments dialog.
Split From Start option will begin splitting the conduit from the side that is selected.
Split From End option will begin splitting the conduit from the opposite side to the side that is selected.
Note: The conduit cannot be split using Start and End if an end of the conduit is not selected.
Optimize option will split outwards from the conduit segment selected.
Normal option will split and insert couplings randomly
The inline option will split and insert couplings inline with each other
Stagger option will split and insert couplings staggered with an equal distance from each other
Choosing OK starts the process. Prefix Settings for Selected Conduit Runs dialog appears. This shows the mark prefixes, number of bends, type, and size of conduits in runs. User has the option to pick a run and highlight it on the screen.
Note: Users can first select a multiple conduit runs and then execute the command.
Note: BendWorks adds a 2-digit extension to the designated prefix and an underscore followed by a 4-digit extension for each.

Installation/Uninstallation
The installer that ran when you downloaded this plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the plugin. You may be prompted to "Search for app in the Store?", simply click "Yes" to continue with the installation. Or if you receive a prompt saying "Windows protected your PC", then right-click the setup file -> Properties -> General -> Security -> Click Unblock
You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the plug-in.
After installing and opening Autodesk® Revit®, you might see a prompt with the title "This signed add-in has been found. What do you want to do?" just click "Always Load".
To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10) and uninstall.
Internet access is required upon start-up for the trial version of Bendworks to function. Once a file is opened, an internet connection is not necessary until Revit is restarted. Output directories must be updated to reflect available folders.
