General Usage Instructions

  1. Launch Pipe Spec Manager
  • Open Pipe Spec Manager from your CAD environment or as a standalone application.
  • The application will load with a comprehensive database of pipe components.
  1. Select Component Parameters
  • Choose a Standard (ANSI, DIN EN, BS, JIS, etc.) from the dropdown menu.
  • Select the Component Category relevant to your design.
  • Pick the specific Component Type you need.
  • If applicable, specify the Schedule or Pressure Rating.
  • Choose the Size from available options.
  1. View Component Details
  • Examine the detailed DXF drawing that appears automatically.
  • Review all dimension parameters displayed in your preferred unit system.
  • Check specifications like material, weight, and pressure ratings.
  • Use the drawing as a reference for your design decisions.
  1. Search for Specific Components
  • Use the search function for quick access to components across all standards.
  • Enter keywords related to the component you need.
  • Select from search results to load component details instantly.
  1. Customize Settings
  • Access the Settings menu to change unit systems (metric/imperial).
  • Modify display preferences to suit your workflow.
  • Import custom standards and components if needed.

Installation/Uninstallation

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plugin from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. Or, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plugin.

To uninstall this plugin, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. Or, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
