Riskpector
Always get an instant view of risks in your Autodesk® Revit® model with Riskpector’s AI-Powered checks, giving you clear insights and automated quality assurance directly inside Revit.

General Usage Instructions

Riskpector QA integrates directly into Revit as a dedicated ribbon tab, providing BIM professionals with an intuitive way to automate quality assurance checks. The typical workflow begins by launching Revit 2023 and opening the project you want to review. Once a model is loaded, navigate to the Riskpector tab and log in using your registered Riskpector account credentials. A valid session is required for all functionality, and the system will notify you if your session expires so you can quickly re-authenticate.

After login, you can access the Test Manager, the central hub for creating, configuring, and running quality checks. Within the Test Manager, you may create new test groups, add individual tests, or select from existing predefined templates. Riskpector is designed to keep test creation simple: instead of writing code, you can define checks using clear text instructions, such as verifying material completeness, detecting missing elements, or identifying inconsistencies across linked models. This flexibility allows teams to tailor the tool to their specific project needs while reducing the time spent on manual setup.

When tests are defined, they can be executed on the active model view. Riskpector automatically analyses architectural and structural elements such as walls, doors, windows, floors, roofs, columns, beams, and stairs, as well as any linked models loaded in the project. The system applies AI-Powered logic to identify risks, inconsistencies, or missing data, ensuring that issues are surfaced early in the design process.

Results are available under the Test Manager > Test > Test Results, organized by test and presented in a structured list. Each result links directly to the associated elements in the model, allowing you to click and instantly focus on the issue. Detected elements are highlighted inside Revit for clear visual feedback, eliminating the need to manually search through views or schedules. The results panel also makes it easy to triage issues, assign priorities, and decide which items require immediate attention.

Once corrections are made in the model, you can re-run the tests to validate that the issues have been resolved. This iterative process helps ensure continuous quality improvement as the project develops. By automating repetitive QA/QC tasks, Riskpector reduces the time required for manual checks, improves design reliability, and enables project teams to focus on higher-value work.

Through this workflow—login, create tests, run checks, review results, and re-validate—Riskpector empowers BIM professionals to deliver safer, smarter, and more efficient projects, directly inside their standard Revit environment.
