usBIM.codesign AI
Win64, EnglishGeneral Usage Instructions
usBIM.codesign AI for Autodesk® Revit® introduces an AI-powered rendering panel that lives directly inside the Revit workspace, so every step happens without exporting the model. You begin exactly as usual—building masses, families, and materials—then simply switch to any 3D or camera view and open the codesign panel. Here, you provide creative direction by either selecting one of the built-in architectural styles (modern, classical, industrial, minimal, and so on) or by uploading a reference image or sketch that captures your intended mood. In seconds, the AI blends this style cue with the live BIM geometry, returning a photorealistic concept render that already contains coherent lighting, textures, and context.
If you need furnished interiors, you have a dedicated functionality that automatically populates the scene with furniture, lighting fixtures, and décor that match the selected style, instantly turning an empty shell into a lived-in space—handy for interior design presentations or renovation proposals. Because the AI output is generated on demand, you can iterate in a rapid loop: adjust light intensity, swap materials, regenerate only a specific zone, and immediately preview the result. Each render can be saved as an image, dropped onto a Revit sheet or simply closed while you continue modeling; the BIM data never leaves the file, so there is no version divergence between design and presentation graphics.
In practice, this turns the plug-in into a real-time creative co-pilot at every project phase. During concept kick-off, you replace rough massing screenshots and external render queues with mood-board-ready visuals produced in a single click. As the design develops, you keep stakeholders updated with fresh renders that take seconds rather than days, and you can test multiple style options—classic versus industrial, for example—before investing modeling time.
