hsbCLT for Autodesk® Revit®

hsbCLT for Autodesk® Revit®

Win64, English

hsbcad
hsbCLT provides an automated solution for CLT building design for Autodesk® Revit® decreasing design time and effortlessly transitioning from the digital world to production with full CNC workflows.

General Usage Instructions

The hsbCLT for Autodesk® Revit® uses regular Revit built-in elements that are created from the standard walls, roofs, and floor templates. If not specified differently in the settings, all Revit built-in members can be used for adding tools, creating shop drawings, export to CNC among others.

Tools applied to these built-in elements are a combination of line and void families that cut the original member or create parts that are later modified by the tools. A tool can consist of multiple void families that are controlled by a handler, or line family constraint to model lines in the project to modify or create new parts. The handler family can be recognized by its magenta color.

Changes in the behavior, shape, or dimensions of a tool can only be controlled through the parameters of this handler family instance. hsbCLT parameters can be recognized by the hsbcad prefix.

Installation/Uninstallation

To start the installation process, you should double-click on the hsbOnRevit.exe file found in the folder you selected to download the installer. It is required for you to close the Revit® product before starting the installation process. The installation will run automatically and will show a message of completion when it is finished.

To uninstall the hsbDesign plug-in, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10/11), and uninstall as you would any other application from your system. Warning, by uninstalling the plug-in all your hsbDesign packages will be deleted. If you only wish to deactivate the hsbCLT package, go to the Settings command under the hsbCLT Ribbon tab and select the packages tab from the displayed Settings dialog. Finally, uncheck the hsbCLT package and save the changes.
