BUILDing360
View export (2D & isometric) to image formats such as .png, .jpeg, .bmp.

General Usage Instructions

The most important function of this tool is creating images of an Autodesk® Revit® family’s types with a single click. To do so, select a view type (2D/3D) and specify a directory with families on your computer. The application gives you an opportunity to define scale and view the detail level during export.

In case you have many families, all of them will be processed one by one from the folder with settings that you predefined. The progress bar will help to estimate the time needed to process all families from the folder.

As a result, you obtain a folder with project types and images of each type. Each image name consists of family name and its type in format [FamilyName] & [TypeName].png (also available .jpeg and .bmp).

After the export process you can find a folder "Projects" next to your families. This folder contains .rvt file with single family types inside. It can be useful for type testing and further development. If you don't plan to use it in your future work, you can delete it.
