PlacebyCADblock
Win64, EnglishGeneral Usage Instructions
This app is suitable for modeling elements that have a point based placement, such as columns, lights, sprinklers, etc.
The position of the block can be selected as the center or the origin.
The center point refers to the center position of the range of the block.
The origin refers to the base point specified when creating the block in the CAD program.
Depending on how or in which direction you rotate the block in your CAD program, sometimes elements are placed perpendicular to the block.
In this case, select the created element and rotate it by 90 degrees using the space bar to help correct the misplaced element.
Insertion of CAD files must use the Import CAD command, not LinkCAD.
To get a block from a CAD file, you need to partial explode it in parts, and you may need to partial explode it several times as needed.
Explosion of CAD files can cause the project to increase its file size and slow it down.
Therefore, you temporarily create views, and work by importing and exploding CAD files. When the operation is finished, delete the temporarily created view to delete the imported CAD files and blocks.
