1. Download and install the Switch Toolkit add-in.
2. Launch Revit and set your credentials via the Settings window.
3. Next, visit our chatbot website and describe your automation needs—including which elements to modify, desired tool behavior, naming conventions, and any edge cases.
4. You’ll receive a confirmation email and, if needed, a request for additional details (e.g. .rvt files).
5. After submitting payment through the “My Tools” panel on the website, your custom tool will appear in your toolkit according to the policy and conditions.
6. If source code is requested, approve the tool in “My Tools” and the code will be delivered by email.

Switch Toolkit is packaged following Autodesk Apps Framework standards. The add-in and supporting files install automatically into Autodesk’s ApplicationPlugins folder (typically under your AppData or ProgramData directory). To install, run the provided installer—no manual steps are required. For uninstallation, use the standard Windows “Programs and Features” control panel or the Autodesk App Store Manager if applicable; simply select Switch Toolkit and choose Uninstall. This will remove all associated files from your system.
