1. Create:

Create function allows the user to select a .txt file that contains worksets that will be displayed in the table after loading the file.

The tool validates whether worksets are already created in the model and offers two options:

Option 1: Create Selected Worksets:

• Select one or more worksets
• Click Create Selected Worksets button

Option 2: Create All Missing Worksets:

• Click Create All Missing Worksets button

2. Rename:

Rename function allows the user to specify a new workset name for one or more worksets.

Option 1: Rename Worksets:

• Specify a new name in the New workset name column
• Click Rename Worksets button

3. Grids/Levels

Grids/Levels functionality displays all grids and levels in the model, and corresponding id and workset information.

The tool offers two options:

Option 1: Assign Selected Elements to Workset:

• Select one or more worksets
• Select target workset
• Click Assign Selected Elements to Workset button

Option 2: Assign All Elements to Shared Levels and Grids Workset:

• Select multiple worksets
• Click the Assign All Elements to Shared Levels and Grids Workset button

4. Revit/CAD

Revit/CAD functionality displays all linked Revit models and all linked/imported CAD corresponding id, type (link/import) and workset information.

The tool offers two options:

Option 1. Assign Selected Files to Workset:

• Select one or more files
• Select target workset
• Click Assign Selected Files to Workset button

Option 2: Assign Each File Separately to New Workset:

• Select one or more files
• Specify prefixes
• Click the Assign All Elements to Shared Levels and Grids Workset button

Note:

• Option 2 will create multiple worksets named as prefix+file name
• Both options do not work on CAD files imported/linked as View Specific

5. 3D Views

3D Views functionality displays all worksets, their Id and the number of elements assigned.

The tool offers two options:

Option 1: Create a combined 3D view for selected worksets:

• Select one or more files
• Specify prefix
• Click Create a combined 3D view for selected worksets button

Result: single 3D views named as prefix+selected worksets separated by -, all worksets except selected will be hidden in the 3D view.

Option 2: Create a 3D view for each selected workset:

• Select one or more files
• Specify prefix
• Click Create a 3D view for each selected workset button

Result: multiple 3D views named as prefix+selected workset, only one workset corresponding will be visible in the 3D view.

6. Families

Families functionality displays a table of elements within the model and allows filtering per category, family name, type name and workset.

The tool allows the user to batch assign workset to multiple elements.

Option 1: Assign Workset:

• Select one or more rows
• Specify target workset
• Click the Assign Workset button

7. Visibility

- Turn on/off single/multiple worksets visibility for single/multiple View/View Template
- Check worksets visibility status for single/multiple View/View Teamplates

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.

All known issues have been fixed in this version.
