Sheets by View

Win64, English

BIMODEL
This add-in will help you to create multiple sheets from multiple views in an Autodesk® Revit® file.

General Usage Instructions

Click on the "Sheets by View" button in the "Bimodel" panel in the "Addins" Ribbon.

In the opened window, first, choose a view type from the drop-down list that is located on the left side of the window named "View Types". As you can see the available views for the selected view type will be shown in the list below named "Available Views". If the list is empty perhaps no view with that specific view type exists in the model.

Now in the views list (left), select views you want to create sheets from (multiple selecting in possible) and then click on the ">>" button. The selected views will be added to the "Selected Views" list on the right.

Finally, choose a title block from the drop-down list named "Title Blocks" and click on the "Select" button.

A Table will be opened which you should enter numbers and names of sheets in provided columns.

Also, in this window, you could set the location of views inside the selected title block by clicking on the "Edit Location" button.

In the opened window, you have two options:

- Pick a point inside the title block as the center point of the viewport

- Or pick two points to create a region. And automatically, the center of this region will be set as the center of the viewport. Also, by this option, you could simply define the margins of the title block to create the available region inside it.

Click on the "Create" button and sheets will be created from selected views, a message will show you the result.
