Universal Features:
- Undo Support: All operations support Revit's undo (Ctrl+Z).
- Transaction Names: Each operation shows clear transaction names in the undo history.
- Error Handling: Tools provide clear error messages with solutions.
- Progress Indicators: Long operations show progress bars.
- Automatic Validation: Tools check element compatibility before executing.
Keyboard Shortcuts & Tips:
- ESC: Cancel any running operation.
- Tab: Cycle through selection options.
- Hover Tooltips: Each button shows detailed descriptions.
- Right-Click: Access context menus where applicable.
Best Practices
Before Using Tools:
- Save your model before major operations.
- Work in appropriate views (3D for spatial tools, plan for 2D operations).
- Ensure elements are not locked or in groups.
- Check workset editability in workshared models.
Performance Tips:
- Close unnecessary views for faster processing.
- Use selection filters for large models.
- Run batch operations during off-peak hours.
- Isolate working areas when possible.
Common Workflows
MEP Coordination Workflow:
- Use MEP Bloom to create multiple routing options.
- Apply Move & Connect for quick adjustments.
- Create crossings with Overpass/Underpass.
- Add Directional Elbows for precise routing.
- Disconnect MEP safely when rerouting.
Quality Control Workflow:
- Run Clash Detection to identify issues.
- Use Element Creator Info to track responsibilities.
- Apply View Sync for consistent review across plans.
- Document with Tab Color for multi-model coordination.
Engineering Workflow:
- Calculate with Flow & Pressure tools.
- Validate using I9 Water Flow standards.
- Size systems with the Drainage Calculator.
- Design with Grid Sprinklers for fire protection.
- Analyze with Circuit Analyzer for electrical.
Troubleshooting
If a Tool Doesn't Work:
- Verify element selection is correct.
- Check if elements are locked or grouped.
- Ensure you have editing permissions (worksharing).
- Confirm the view type is appropriate for the operation.
- Check if elements have required parameters.
Error Messages:
- "No elements selected": Select appropriate MEP elements first.
- "Transaction failed": Save and sync if worksharing.
- "Elements locked": Unlock elements or check worksets.
- "Invalid connection": Ensure compatible connector types.
Data Management
- Tools preserve all element properties and parameters.
- System classifications remain intact.
- Connector information is maintained.
- Original hosting relationships are preserved.
- Parameter values carry forward in operations.
Compatibility Notes
- Works with all MEP element types (pipes, ducts, cable trays, conduits).
- Supports both imperial and metric units.
- Compatible with workshared models.
- Respects project standards and settings.
- Maintains BIM data integrity.
Support & Updates
- Access help through the Help & Info button.
- Tool versions are shown in the ribbon interface.
- Check for updates regularly.
- Report issues through the Contact Us feature.
- Video tutorials available for complex operations.
Quick Reference
- Modeling Tools: MEP Bloom, Move & Connect, Disconnect, Directional Elbows.
- Coordination: Sync Scope Boxes, Clash Detection, Overpass/Underpass.
- Engineering: Flow Calculations, Sizing Tools, Standard Calculators.
- Management: View Sync, Tab Color, Element Creator, Export Families.

Known Issues
Family Compatibility:
⚠️ Important: Rotate, Flip, and Move & Connect tools require Revit 2023+ native families. These tools may fail with older families (pre-2023) upgraded to newer versions due to missing connector parameters.
Solution: Use native Revit 2023/2024 families or recreate older families in current versions.
