The BIM Depot Automation Tools save you time in Revit by automating frequently encountered tasks. Simply navigate to the 'BIM Depot' tab in Revit and select the button to automate your most common pain points in Revit. 

• Automatically number doors to match the room number
  • Click the 'Door Number' button to automatically reassign door numbers (mark) to match the room number. If a room contains more than one door, the doors will be appended with an alphanumeric suffix (...a, ...b, ...c).
• Automatically align floor plans across sheets
  • Click the 'Align Views' button to open a dialog box that allows you to automatically align floor plans across sheets.
• Reload links and reload keynotes
  • Click the 'Reload Links' button to reload all links within the model. 
  • Click the 'Reload Keynotes' button to reload the keynote file associated with the current model. Note: This can be assigned a keyboard shortcut to reduce the number of steps required to reload your keynote file.
• Reassign line styles for lines and filled regions
  • Click the 'Reassign Line Style' button to automate reassigning the line styles of all model lines, detail lines, and filled region lines within the model.
• Delete Duplicate Annotations
  • Click the 'Delete Duplicate Annotations' button to automatically delete all duplicated annotations. This is similar to the 'Overkill' command in AutoCAD, but it works for lines, tags, and more.
• Automatically dimension all structural grids and levels in view
  • Click the 'Create Grid Dimensions' button to automatically dimension all grids within the view. 
  • Click the 'Create Level Dimensions' button to automatically dimension all levels within the view.
• Add text to all selected dimension strings (ie, VIF)
  • Click the 'Dimension Text' button to add text to all selected dimension strings. Common uses include adding 'VIF' behind dimensions, replacing dimensions with 'EQ', and adding '±' before the dimension.
• Provides a Revit-to-Excel and Excel-to-Revit simplified workflow
  • Click the 'Export' button to export a schedule within Revit to Excel.
  • Click the 'Import' button to import a spreadsheet into a Revit schedule.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
