An Application for bulk updates Text Note style property.

General Usage Instructions

Go to the "Add-ins" tab “Text Utility" panel click on “Update Text Note" to start the command.
Clicking this button starts the command and launch the "Text Note Utility" Form dialog.
From the "Text Note Utility" Form "Selection" group make a selection to update.
"Text Note style in this project" - to update all the text note style on this project.
"Text Note Style of loaded Families in this project" - to update all the loaded families’ text note style.
From the "Text Note Utility" Form “Text Style"
Specify the new text style from the list of text font style supplied with windows to update.
If you didn’t specify new text style, the app will prompt you to make a selection. If you don’t wish to continue click "Cancel" button to end the process.
Click Update once update starts, TextUtility application will loop through every text note style one by one and update to the new text style you specified.
"Text Note style” form will display the updated text style information on the list box under results.
After the update process is completed, a dialog box is displayed with the total number of families succeeded and updated to a new style.




The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
