To run QuickRiser in Autodesk® Revit®, click the Add-ins tab in the Revit Ribbon and click on the QuickRiser button.

If you have not activated your license yet, a window will pop up for you to enter it. For questions and help with your license, contact us at support@quickmep.com.

Once your license is activated, clicking the QuickRiser button will open our plugin. To draw a riser from the connections in your model, you first need to click "Sync Equipment" in our plugin. All equipment connected to our Utility and Generator families will be detected. You can find our Utility and Generator families under the electrical families in the System Browser. After the syncing is complete, go through the list of equipment and select the type of symbol you want to be drawn in the riser. Also, check the checkboxes of equipment you want shown in the riser. You can click "Show In Model" to show which element in the model the list item represents. Lastly, select the location of the Utility Vault and click "Draw Riser". A drafting view should then be created with your riser diagram in it!

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8/8.1/10) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.

After installing QuickRiser, open Revit to see the QuickRiser activation window. Enter your license key here to activate. For questions and help with your license, contact us at support@quickmep.com.
