This tool helps easily trim/extend Grids and Levels, turn on/off multiple bubbles of Grids and Levels.

General Usage Instructions

 To trim or extend Grids:

 

·        Trim or extend one Grid 3D (model) or 2D (view specific) extent to a boundary defined by Grid, Level, Reference Plane or Detail Line.

Click Add-ins tab > ReviTea Datum panel > Trim Grids > Trim/Extend Grid 3D (Trim/Extend Grid 2D)

Select the reference (Grid, Level, Reference Plane or Detail Line) to use as a boundary. Then select each Grid to trim or extend. To exit the tool, press ESC.

If this element crosses the boundary (or a projection), the part that you click is retained. The part on the other side of the boundary is trimmed. Grids extent will switch to 3D or 2D extent accordingly.

 

·        Trim or extend multiple Grids 3D or 2D extents to a boundary defined by Grid, Level, Reference Plane or Detail Line. Do one of the following:

o   Click Add-ins tab > ReviTea Datum panel > Trim Grids > Trim/Extend Multiple Grids 3D (Trim/Extend Multiple Grids 2D)

Select the Grids to trim or extend. Then select the reference (Grid, Level, Reference Plane or Detail Line) to use as a boundary.

 

o   Select the Grids to trim or extend, click Add-ins tab > ReviTea Datum panel > Trim Grids > Trim/Extend Multiple Grids 3D (Trim/Extend Multiple Grids 2D), and then select the reference (Grid, Level, Reference Plane or Detail Line) to use as a boundary.

   The extent end of a Grid that is close to the boundary is trimmed or extended. Grids extent will switch to 3D or 2D extent accordingly.

 

·        Set Grids 3D (model) extents in vertical direction:

o   Select the Grids to modify the 3D (model) extents in vertical direction. Click Add-ins tab > ReviTea Datum panel > Trim Grids > Set Grids 3D Height. Set Grids vertical range with levels and offset.

 

To trim or extend Levels:

 

·        Trim or extend one Levels 3D (model) or 2D (view specific) extent to a boundary defined by Grid, Reference Plane or Detail Line.

Click Add-ins tab > ReviTea Datum panel > Trim Levels Trim/Extend Level 3D (Trim/Extend Level 2D)

Select the reference (Grid, Reference Plane or Detail Line) to use as a boundary. Then select each Level to trim or extend. To exit the tool, press ESC.

o   Select the Grids to trim or extend, click Add-ins tab > ReviTea Datum panel > Trim Levels Trim/Extend Multiple Levels 3D (Trim/Extend Multiple Levels 2D), and then select the reference (Grid, Reference Plane or Detail Line) to use as a boundary. The extent end of a Level that is close to the boundary is trimmed or extended. Levels 2D extents will switch to 3D or 2D extents according.

 

To show or hide multiple Grids/Levels bubble:

·        Show or hide multiple Grids bubble according to a boundary defined by Grid, Level, Reference Plane or Detail Line. Do one of the following:

o   Click Add-ins tab > ReviTea Datum panel > Switch Bubbles > Show Multiple Grids 3D or Hide Multiple Grids 3D, select the Grids show or hide bubble. Then select the reference (Grid, Level, Reference Plane or Detail Line) to use as a boundary.

o   Select the Grids to show or hide bubble, click Add-ins tab > ReviTea Datum panel > Switch Bubbles > Trim/Extend Multiple Grids 3D, and then select the reference (Grid, Level, Reference Plane or Detail Line) to use as a boundary.

The bubble at the extent end of a Grid that is close to the boundary is shown or hidden.

 

·        Show or hide multiple Levels bubble according to a boundary defined by Grid, Reference Plane or Detail Line. Do one of the following:

o   Click Add-ins tab > ReviTea Datum panel > Switch Bubbles > Show Multiple Levels 3D or Hide Multiple Levels 3D, select the Levels show or hide bubble. Then select the reference (Grid, Reference Plane or Detail Line) to use as a boundary.

o   Select the Levels to show or hide bubble, click Add-ins tab > ReviTea Datum panel > Switch Bubbles > Trim/Extend Multiple Levels 3D, and then select the reference (Grid, Reference Plane or Detail Line) to use as a boundary.

The bubble at the extent end of a Level that is close to the boundary is shown or hidden.

Installation/Uninstallation

The installer that ran when you downloaded this plug-in from Autodesk App store has already installed the plug-in. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer by downloading it again from Autodesk App store, and select the 'Uninstall' button, or you can uninstall it from 'Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features' (Windows 7/8/8.1/10), just as you would uninstall any other application from your system.
