The app works as a dockable panel with an input textbox. Enter text commands into the textbox and press the 'Enter' button or the Return key on your keyboard to run the command. To the right of the 'Enter' button is an output panel that lists any relevant information to the command. The list of commands is pre-defined and can be viewed at any time by entering 'help' as the command and running it. Commands generally take the format of command modifier "information"

Where command and modifier are generally part of the in-built command list and "information" is specific to what you are telling the command to do in this circumstance (in some cases, modifier is also used as another "information" field for ease-of-use).

A list of ready-to-execute commands can be saved into a text file, with each sequential command on a new line and this text file can be loaded by entering "run script" in the input textbox. This will execute the full sequence of commands.

Some example commands are as follows:

• select walls "Length=3000"     ->     selects all walls that are 3000 long
• filter doors                            ->      removes everything but doors from current selection
• set "Comments=replace"        ->     sets the value of the 'Comments' parameter of current selection to read "replace"
• vg off                                    ->     hides the currently selected elements
• sheet "LEVEL 1 PLAN" A100    ->      creates a new sheet named "LEVEL 1 PLAN" and numbered "A100"
• move to "-1000"                     ->      moves one object to the position of another, with an offset of 1000 in the direction the element came from
• vox 200,200 "A100"               ->      adds the current active view to sheet "A100" at X,Y location 200,200
• pdf "Print Set 1"                    ->      exports "Print Set 1" as PDFs
• dwg "Print Set 1"                   ->      exports "Print Set 1" as DWGs

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
