Bird Tools - CAD Link Opener

Once installed, this tool can be found under the "Bird Tools" tab of the Autodesk® Revit® ribbon.
The usage of this tool is straightforward:
1. The pushbutton corresponding to this tool is pressed.
2. The DWG link to be opened is selected.
In case your DWG viewer/editor of choice is already running, the linked drawing will automatically open in its running instance, Otherwise, a new instance of the process will be created where the link will open.
In case the DWG file is not associated with any default DWG viewer/editor, the user will be prompted to select the default DWG application through the conventional "Open With..." Windows dialog.
This application requires Autodesk Desktop Connector to be installed in case BIM 360 Docs hosted links should be opened by the tool.
Note that this tool does not support imported CAD instances, which should have never been imported in the first place.

Installation/Uninstallation
The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.
You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in.
To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
