This plugin is a helpful tool for AV design engineers and drafters who draw interconnection schemes for Audio/Video/Broadcasting/Extra-Low-Voltage/CCTV/Network Systems.

General Usage Instructions

You have two commands:

1) AADB:- To add a device from databases to your drafting view. On the tabs you will find Create patch and termination panels, marking the cables and work with racks.


  • ChangeFilters - to change types of the connector of the selected devices
  • Create a Patch Panel
  • Create Termination Panels
  • Mark Cables - to create cable labels
  • Draw Rack - to draw rack elevations
  • Fill Rack - to insert the device into the rack


2) Schemes Manager:- To control and export excel file of equipment lists.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
