Find Element Detached
Win64, EnglishGeneral Usage Instructions
It is easy to view elements while in any model view, for example plan, reflected, elevation, section, detail, 3D, etc. (recommended view is 3D). Just simply click FindElementsDetached button on Add-ins tab.
When the add-in starts, there are 3 functions:
- Columns Id(s): This add-in will find any Structural Column not yet attached, divide to section Base and Top, and show their ID on textbox.
You can get these IDs to make your schedule or just click Select to select them for editing (that's why 3D view is recommended).
- Arch Columns Id(s): This add-in will find any Architect Column not yet attached, divide to section Base and Top, and show their ID on textbox.
You can get these IDs to make your schedule or just click Select to select them for editing.
- Walls Id(s): This add-in will find any wall (includes structural wall and architect wall) not yet attached, divide to section Base and Top, and show their ID on textbox.
You can get these IDs to make your schedule or just click Select to select them for editing.
Please view my pictures and video I attached to see how to use the add-in.
