Next activate the Ortho2Iso command. Click the "Top" button to convert a plan drawing to the top view or click the "Left" or "Right" button to convert an elevation or section to the corresponding side view. This works in project and family files.

No problem! You can use the explode DC command first. This will import all the filled regions and lines in a detail component family as detail lines and filled regions in your project. Now you can convert any detail component family to an isometric drawing.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.

1. Masking regions are imported as filled regions.
2. Filled regions that are not visible in the view because of the views detail level (Course, Medium or Fine) will still be imported.
