Use the Endra platform to create your MEP design. When finished, save the project in Endra and launch Revit with your model. Click the Endra add-in and authenticate with Endra if required. Then, select the project from the dropdown menu and choose which Revit families you want the products to map to.

Steps to Use the Add-In

Export

Export your project to IFC using the export button—no Endra account is required.

Import

1. Launch Revit.
2. Open your model.
3. Switch to the predefined 3D view and tilt the view so the ceilings are visible.
4. Launch the Endra add-in.
5. Authenticate the add-in with an Endra account (first time only, until the token expires). This opens an external browser where you must approve the add-in’s access to your Endra account.
6. Select your Endra project from the dropdown.
7. Map at least one Endra product group to a Revit family.
8. Click “To Revit” and wait approximately 30 seconds.
9. The elements should now be visible in the model.

Good to Know

1. The entire import runs within a single Revit transaction, which appears in the undo/redo menu. All actions performed by the add-in can be undone (Ctrl+Z) after completion if you want to rerun the import with different mappings.
2. The text next to the progress bar indicates how many elements were snapped to a surface and how many were inserted at the coordinates provided by the Endra backend (when no suitable face was found to snap to).

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
