In order for the tool to work with you, you need to follow these procedures carefully: -

1. The active view must be a plan view.
2. You must select a DWG instance
3. Select the Cable TrayType of desired element you want to model with.
4. Pick 1 Layer or more to proceed.
5. Prior to pressing "RUN", make sure nothing is selected.
6. Press RUN

*Kindly note that, if the Cad Lines are drawn in a way that fittings can't be created, the tool will simply ignore that error and move on to the next lines to continue. It simply ignores it and gives the type of error that it encounters.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plugin from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plugin. Or, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. Or, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.

If the active view is not a plan view, it won't work.

If the polylines/Lines are within a block, it won't work. You must explode all blocks that contain the lines/polylines before inserting the CAD file into Revit.
