General Usage Instructions

Precast Concrete design software for Revit lets you efficiently model prefabricated concrete wall panels, floor slabs, and columns & beams. Place rebar. Auto-sort and renumber elements as needed. Create element views with automatic dimensions, and generate bills of materials and shop drawings for quality production and accurate assembly on site.

General workflow:

I. Prefabricated floor paneling.

II. Create slabs by using structural framing families.

III. Split architectural walls into panels.

IV. Place wall reinforcement.

V. Insert grout tubes, cast-in plates, anchor bolts, lifting bolts/eyes, and cuts on any surface of beams and walls. Automated LOD 400 modeling

VI. Sort and add "mark" values to precast elements based on volume, location, ID, length, etc.

VII. Auto-generate shop tickets with needed views and dimensions

Commands

Installation/Uninstallation

Install or uninstall Precast Concrete according to standard procedures.

Download the app from the Autodesk App Store.

Double-click the file to start the installation process.

Follow the instructions on your screen. 

 

Installation file path: C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2020

To uninstall, go to ‘Programs and Features’ on your Control Panel, select ‘TOOLS 4 BIM Dock [year]’ (published by AGACAD), and click ‘Uninstall.’

Additional Information

You can find E-Help in two ways: press F1 or click the E-Help button on the product main menu.
