The add-in links the following shared parameters:

• layoutlength_length: Length type.
• layoutlength_string: String type.
• layoutlength_X: X coordinate of the element.
• layoutlength_Y: Y coordinate of the element.
• layoutlength_Z: Z coordinate of the element.
• layoutlength_R: Rotation of the element.

To the following categories will be attached the layoutlength_length and layoutlength_string parameters:

• Conduit.
• Wires.
• Duct.
• Flex Duct.
• Pipe.
• Flex Pipe.
• Cable Tray.

The XYZ coordinates and rotation data will be saved for the following categories:

Mechanical: Mechanical Equipment, Duct Terminal.

Electrical: Electrical Equipment, Lighting Devices, Lighting Fixtures, Electrical Fixtures, Nurse Call Devices, Telephone Devices, Fire Alarm Devices, Data Devices, Communication Devices, Security Devices.

Plumbing: Plumbing Fixtures and Sprinklers.

The add-in has four buttons:

1. LengthMEP:

Create the schedules of quantities of the categories (Conduits, Cable Tray, Pipes, Flex pipes, Duct, Flex Duct), and to update the total values per diameter or size.

2.Selection:

Shows the total length in the previous categories and wires drawed; the user must previously select the elements.

3.XYZ:

Shows the Finder window of the app to search elements with the folloeing filters:

·Conduit unconnected.

·Cable Trays unconnected.

·Pipes unconnected.

·Flexpipes unconnected.

·Ducts unconnected.

·Flexducts unconnected.

·Electrical XYZ and Rotation/Different.

·Plumbing XYZ and Rotation/Different.

·Mechanical XYZ and Rotation/Different.

The user can search in the model the unconnected elements or MEP elements with different location, that can change lengths of systems.

4.Circuit path:

Change the circuit path of all electrical circuits in the model to the option selected:

·All devices.

·Farthest device.

·Straight path (Custom, straight path from the panel to the farthest element).

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
