hsbModel generates building components in Revit that can be printed on a larger scale with a 3D printer, finally allowing you to assemble by clicking them together.

General Usage Instructions

Starting the installation process, double click on the hsbOnRevit.exe file located in the folder of the file you downloaded. It is required you close Autodesk Revit product before starting the installation process. The installation will run automatically and will show a message of completion when it is finished. 

To uninstall this hsbOnRevit plug-in, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10), and uninstall as you would any other windows application from your system. Warning, by uninstalling the plug-in all your hsbOnRevit packages will be deleted. If you only wish to deactivate the hsbModel package, go to the Settings command under the hsbModel Ribbon tab and select the packages tab from the displayed Settings dialog. Finally, uncheck the hsbModel package and save the changes.

Known Issues

Clicking technology can be limited depending on the accuracy and build of the 3D printer. An alternative to the click technology is to use glue.

Maximum 25 stackable free-forms in the trial version.

One-Click is achievable if the building model is accurate and splitting is not required through openings.

One family is installed presently but will be extended in later versions.

Labeling issues can occur around openings.

Curtain Walls are not supported.

Wall sweeps and Edit profile walls can cause problems.
