Alignment

• Vertical Align: Click Vertical to perform Align for the vertical MEP elements. There are 3 modes to perform Align as shown in the control panel. Click OK to proceed.
• Align by Centerline: Click Centerline to perform Align for horizontal MEP elements. Select 2 MEP elements then click Finish.
• Align by Bottom, Center, Top Elevation: Select 2 pipes then click Finish to end the command.

Rotate Fittings:

• Rotate 90+, Rotate 90-: Rotate the pipe fittings 90 degrees in two opposite directions. Select pipe fittings and click the command.
• Rotate 45+, Rotate 45-: Rotate the pipe fittings 90 degrees in two opposite directions. Select pipe fittings and click the command.

Move :

• Move Up, Move Down: Select the MEP element, then click the command to raise and lower the MEP elements.
• Move Plan+, Move Plan-: Select the MEP elements, then click the command to move the MEP elements to left or right.
• Move Fitting+, Move Fitting-: Select the accessory, then click the command to move the MEP elements fittings.
• Setting: Set the move value after each command execution.

Fitting Control:

• Create Pipe: Select command, enter distance and select pipe fittings then click finish.
• Fitting Joint: Choose 2 pipe fittings.
• Quick Elbow: Click on Quick Elbow, select the creation modes and select the pipes.
• Quick Tee: Click on Quick Tee, select the creation modes and pick a point on the pipes.
• Reverse Tap: Click on Reverse Tap, select tap and click Finish.
• 45deg Cap, 90 Deg Cap: Click on 45deg Cap or 90deg Cap, select pipe and click Finish.

General :

• Place Valve: Click Family Manager to manage the valve family. Click Place Valve to create valves
• Vertical MEP: Click Vertical MEP to configure. Click OK to execute the tool

Smart Distance:

• Offset+/Offset-: Select the reference MEP element and displacement MEP element to move the MEP elements in elevation.
• Plan+/Plan-: Select the reference MEP element and displacement MEP element to move the MEP elements in the floor plan.
• Setting: Set the displacement distance.

• Install Quick MEP Addin: After downloading the installer. Click on the installer, then click “Install Now”. Installation takes place. After installation is complete, click Close to finish. You can click on “View Documentation” to see instructions for using the tool
• Uninstall Quick MEP Addin: Go to control panel > program > programs and Features, select “Quick MEP Installer”, then click Uninstall. The uninstallation process takes place. Wait a while for the Uninstallation to finish.
