3D Lines to ConduitWin64, English
General Usage Instructions
Import a DWG or DXF into Revit that contains line data.
Locate the 3D Lines to Conduit ribbon panel and click the icon to start the app.
You will be prompted to select a DWG or DXF import instance from your active document.
When you select the desired import instance the app will allow you to choose the conduit system type, size, and the level to add the conduit system before processing the line data.
The app will create new conduit elements on the selected level with a center point that exactly matches the lines and polylines in your original import instance.
The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
This app requires some pre-processing of data into a DWG or DXF file. Currently joins need to be added manually, but the automation of that process may be added to future releases.
Note: Must be purchased with the same Autodesk account which is used to log in to Revit or the App will not run.
It does not work with Revit Family files (rfa). Currently joins need to be added manually, but the automation of that process may be added to future releases.
