2. Navigate to the "Add-ins" tab and select "External Tools."

3. Click on the "RevitSchemaScanner" tool from the External Tools menu.

4. The tool will scan all the schemas within the Revit file.

5. A window will appear, displaying the number of schemas in conflict (if any) and any inaccessible schemas.

6. If desired, the user can click on the "Open Journal File" option in the window to view the Revit journal file associated with the scan.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.

Additional Information

If one or more of the schemas do not have read permission, the add-on will not scan those schemas for conflicts in the Revit session.

Because the Revit API only allows to scan schemas in Revit memory, it is important to close the Revit application between each scan to get the most reliable results.

Known Issues

In some rare cases, you may be prompted to install Autodesk Desktop Connector when the model has a link to another cloud file.
