Automation Job Processor (AJP)

This is the main window of the Automation Job Processor application. The following operations can be performed from the main window.
- Edit the application settings
- Open an existing Automation Job database
- Create a new Automation Job database
- Create a copy an of an Automation Job database
- Manage job types
- View job history of all jobs
- View or clear the log file
- View the user guide
- Show information about the application
- Run selected jobs
- Add a new job
- Copy a job
- Edit an existing job
- View the job history of selected jobs
- Delete selected jobs

Commands
Installation/Uninstallation
1.Install the software noted in the Software Requirements.
NOTE: Each Autodesk application must be run once before using the Automation Job Processor.
2.Install Automation Job Processor
- Automation Job Processor
- Revit Add-ins for Automation Job processor.
Step1 – Installation of Automation Job Processor
- Click on Automation Job Processor xxx.msi.
- Choose "I agree"
- Click Next
- Click Next
- Click Next
- Click Next to confirm Installation
- Choose Yes
- Click Close to complete the Installation Process
Step2: Installation of Revit Add-ins for Automation Job processor
- Click on Revit_Add-ins_for_Automation_Job_Processor.xxx.msi
- Click Next to confirm Installation
- Click Close to complete the installation
Additional Information
Click the View log file menu item to display the contents of the AutomationJobProcessor.log log file.
The log file is located in the C:\Users\<Current user name>\Documents folder. View the log file for information that has been logged during the running of automation jobs, such as errors that may have occurred. Information that is logged is always appended to the bottom of the log file.
The following is the format of logged information:
<YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS>, <Information type>, <Source>, <Information details>
Where:
- <YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS> - This is a date time of the information being logged, such as “2023-06-26 16:27:27”.
- <Information type> - This is the type of information being logged, such as “Information”, “Warning”, or “Error”.
- <Source> - This is the source of the information being logged, such as a DWG file path, or the location in code (e.g., method name) where an error occurred.
- <Information details> - This contains more detailed information of what is being logged, such as an exception message and a call stack in code for the exception, or specific information about a failure during the execution of an automation job.
It is recommended to check the log file regularly, especially if you are experiencing unexpected results when running an automation job.

NOTE: It is highly suggested that you follow the Recommend system requirements.
