Install
  1. Double-click the downloaded "Data Exchange - Revit Connector" installer package from the Autodesk App Store.
  2. The installation setup wizard appears. Click Next.
  3. Browse to the folder where you want to install and click Next. It saves the installation files to your computer.
  4. Click Next to confirm the installation. It begins the installation.
  5. After successful installation, click Close to exit.

 

Uninstall

There are two scenarios when you may need to uninstall the existing version of your Connector from your system. One is when you are upgrading to the latest version and the other is when you are reinstalling an existing version to avoid any potential problems.

  1. In the Windows search bar, search and select Control Panel.
  2. Select Programs > Programs and Features.
  3. Select Data Exchange - Revit Connector from the list of programs.
  4. Click Uninstall.
  5. A dialog box appears requesting your confirmation, click Yes.
  6. After successful uninstallation, click OK.

 

Update

Ensure to uninstall the older version of Connector before upgrading to the latest version.
  1. Uninstall the older version by following the steps in the Uninstall section.
  2. Install the latest version by following the steps in the install section.
