Select By Family

• Select the reference instance -> confirm the selection -> click OK in the confirmation dialog.
• A confirmation dialog displays the selected family name or system family name.

Select By Category

• Select the reference instance -> confirm the selection -> click OK in the confirmation dialog.
• A confirmation dialog displays the selected category name.

Select By Type

• Select the reference instance -> confirm the selection -> click OK in the confirmation dialog.
• A confirmation dialog displays the selected type name and family name.

SystemFamily Selection

• Click the Target button for Walls, Floors, and Ceilings from the dialog.
• If there is one structural layer, select single layer.
• Otherwise, select multiple layers.

Inplace Selection

• It's a simple operation. 　
• Click Yes on the confirmation dialog.

DirestShape Selection

• It's a simple operation. 　
• Click Yes on the confirmation dialog.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.

This application selects objects in the current view and does not select hidden objects.
