Below is a summary of the usage instructions. See the documentation provided with the app for the full and most up-to-date help documentation.

Export Families:  

• Select families to export from the selection tree.
• Specify where to write the files.
• Choose whether to organize subfolders by category.

Renumber Items: 

How to renumber individual elements by picking in sequence:

• Enter starting number or letter and other options
• Select "Pick Selections" under "Selection Style"
• Press "Renumber Items" to begin picking elements to renumber.
• After the first item is renumbered you will be restricted to renumbering only items of the same category.
• Press ESC when finished renumbering.

How to renumber an entire selection: 

• Enter starting number or letter and other options
• Select one of the directions other than "Pick Selections" under "Selection Style"
• UDLR=First select uppermost item moving downward...if there is a tie select Left to Right.
• DULR=First select lowermost item moving upward...if there is a tie select Left to Right.
• Press "Renumber Items" to automatically renumber entire sequence.
• If no elements were selected before you entered the command you will be prompted to do so.
• Lastly, If your selection contains elements of more than one category you will be prompted to select just one category to renumber.

Renumber Doors:                     

• After setting starting letter and other options press "Renumber Doors" and the program will proceed to renumber all the doors in the project based on the room number. Example: Doors in room 101 may be numbered 101-A, 101-B, and 101-C. 
• The program automatically chooses which room to associate by first using the "Room To" parameter.  If the "Room To" parameter does not exist it uses the "Room From".  You can use the Renumber From To tool to switch the room the door is associated with. Using the From To tool automatically renumbers all the surrounding doors affected by the change accordingly.

Hide in Views:

• Pick elements that you want to hide (or unhide).
• Press "Hide In Views" Button.
• Select option to Hide or Unhide.
• Select option to hide Elements or Categories
• Select the view(s) from the list where you want the elements hidden.
• Press OK.

Associate Parameters:

• In the Family Editor press the Associate Parameters button then select a nested family.
• When presented with the dialog you can select from the drop-downs which parameter to associate with the nested parameter.
• If you want the parameter to always be the same for all of the nested parameter types then check "Apply changes to all types". 

Toggle Reference Planes:

• Press the Toggle Reference Planes button. If the reference planes category is visible it sets the category to invisible and vice-versa. An icon and Press F1 for contextual help.

Revision Narrative:

• Select output path for narrative document.
• Select option to sequentially number each revision on each sheet.

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the app/plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8.1/10) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system.
