Export sheets to DWG

Export multiple sheets to one DWG file (multiple layouts/ model space/ 1 layout).

General Usage Instructions

  1. Select your Revit sheets
  2. Select your DWG export settings
  3. Select a save path
  4. For "Multiple Layouts" and "Model Space" commands:
  • Check the AutoCAD plugin status (it should be "Built-In" or "Standard")
  • Select your AutoCAD version (2020 or later only)
  1. For the "One Layout" command:
  • Select the title block label
  1. Advanced Settings
  • For "Multiple Layouts":
    • Select your layout naming rule
    • You can change printer settings in AutoCAD
    • Automatically create a Sheet Set Manager
    • Merge layers: uncheck this option if you want to reduce export time
  1. Run the export command

 

  • For "Multiple Layouts" and "Model Space" commands:
    These commands use AutoCAD to merge drawings
  • For the "One Layout" command:
    This command can run without AutoCAD

Installation/Uninstallation

The installer that ran when you downloaded this app/plug-in from the Autodesk App Store will start installing the app/plug-in. OR, simply double-click the downloaded installer to install the app/plugin.

To uninstall this plug-in, exit the Autodesk product if you are currently running it, simply rerun the installer, and select the "Uninstall" button. OR, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 10/11) and uninstall as you would any other application from your system
