Ribbon/Toolbar Icon Command Command Description

Generate Take Off

The user for each “Generate Take Off” has the option to do default export as per the MTO settings OR to select what to export: Walls, Roofs, Floors, Foundations, Stairs, Ceilings, Beams and Default Objects. This selection is not permanent. It extracts the Objects properties and export them to a csv file along with the BOQ: quantities, units and descriptions.

MTO settings

It gives the user the ability to select the Families/Types/Categories And Properties to include or exclude from the Take OFF generated report. The user’s changes and selections are saved in an XMl file and are permanent.

Material Assignment

This command is used to assign BOQ items from the product Catalogue (BOQ dictionary) to the Revit Components (Family*Component). It also allows to set the link formula from inside Revit. The link formula is a set of algebraic operations used by our quantifier to calculate the BOQ quantities.
